Steps

  1. We admitted we were powerless over food — that our lives had become unmanageable.
  2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
  3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
  4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
This is where I am up to now.

I have admitted I am powerless. I have (relunctantly at first) made the decision to believe in a Higher Power. I have decided to turn my life over to the care of that Higher Power.

Its now time for me to make my searching and fearless moral inventory.

Thing is, I'm not sure how to. I've been looking for a template online and although there are a few, I dont feel comfortable with any of them. Or maybe its the task I am struggling with rather than the medium...?

Welcome to OA

My name is Amanda and I am a Compulsive Overeater.

After more than 2 years of procrastination, I have started attending meetings both face to face and online. I have made a commitment to follow the 12 steps and do what needs to be done to recover from this illness.

Please dont be afraid to leave comments, I would love to share my story with anyone who wants to share theirs.
